The sixth annual GVYO
Summer String Camp takes place July 15-20, 2013 at the School of Music, University of Victoria. GVYO Music
Director Yariv Aloni - assisted by an inspiring team of Coaching Faculty and senior GVYO players - leads
string players through a week of orchestral training and fun!
Here are just a few of the comments we got from participants at the end of Summer String Camp 2012:

The camp runs each
morning, Monday through Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm.
The Festive Finale - Saturday, July 20 at 12 noon in the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall - caps off the week of orchestrated adventure!
Current and prospective GVYO members are welcome to attend, as are all interested players of violin, viola,
cello and bass who play at a level comparable to Conservatory Grade 6 or higher. Spend a week working with
high calibre coaches and mentors, develop your orchestral skills and experience, and be part of an awesome
string orchestra!
