String Players! Spend a week working out with a high calibre coaching crew, develop your orchestral fitness and endurance, and be part of a stupendous string team in training!

GVYO String Training Camp takes place July 18 - 23, 2010 at the School of Music, University of Victoria. The camp will be led by Associate Music Director Yariv Aloni, assisted by members of the GVYO Coaching Staff and senior GVYO players. It promises to be a week of fun and fitness for the music-muscles!

The camp will run Sunday (9:30 am - 3:00 pm), Monday through Friday (9:00 am - 12:30 pm), with a Festive Finale Friday, July 23 at 5:30 pm. Current and prospective GVYO members are welcome to attend, as are all interested players of violin, viola, cello and bass who play at a level comparable to Conservatory Grade 6 or higher.
